Tomball Independent School District
Tomball ISD was once again named the No. 1 Best School District, Best Place to Teach, and No. 1
District with the Best Teachers in Harris County by Niche and was the only “A” rated school
district in Harris and Montgomery counties.

Concordia Lutheran High School
With a mission of Building Lives of Excellence Upon the Foundation of Christ, Concordia Lutheran High
School presents opportunities for students to excel in and out of the classroom, while growing
spiritually and socially. The rigorous college preparatory curriculum and highly-trained and motivated
faculty has prepared 98% of recent graduates to pursue higher education.
Concordia is a nationally accredited exemplary school serving families from 18 different Houston
communities (45 zip codes), including the community CLHS calls home, Tomball. Situated on a 42-acre
campus, it’s the largest private high school option in NW Houston with many different
extracurricular offerings, as well as 16 AP and 8 Dual Credit classes. While it is Lutheran, Concordia

In a school of 565 students, Concordia students can be involved in multiple activities. Two-thirds
participate in the 20 varsity athletic programs, while 35% compete in fine arts. The fastest growing

ComQuest Academy
ComQuest Academy (CQA) is a tuition-free charter school presently serving grades K-12. CQA is located
in Tomball, founded in 1999 to provide students with school choice and better preparation for life after
high school.
Classes at CQA are delivered through a direct instruction approach, with small teacher-to-student ratio
sized classes. CQA has recently adopted and is currently implementing a state adopted, robust, TEKS
aligned Bluebonnet Learning curriculum that focuses on developing student mastery of on grade level
skills while also challenging them with critical thinking.
CQA partners with local Lone Star College to help ease the transition from high school to college. Lone
Star College has recently opened their SCi-Fi Center, a Hub for students to expand their interests and
learning towards STEAM pathways and engagement.
CQA’s CATE program offers students courses in workforce development with students aged 16 and
older eligible to receive school elective credit while they earn a paycheck and work experience. CQA
offers the opportunity to earn certifications in some employment areas. CQA offers STEAM-based courses
including a recently added Applied Physics and Engineering course that is a STEAM-based science
credit.
In addition to the academic program, CQA offers students opportunities to participate in tutoring,
elective credit courses in project-based learning activities, outdoor learning with various projects
including Horticulture and Gardening projects, Spanish classes, learning classical and cultural dances,
musical program participation, building soccer skills, special sewing projects, cooking lessons, healthy
living classes, and mini lessons to learn a variety of life-skills.
School releases earlier on Fridays to provide teachers additional training opportunities and time to
meet with parents to collaborate on their student’s success and growth in academic improvement.

St. Anne Catholic School
St. Anne Catholic School opened in 1984 with 13 first-graders, 16 half-day kindergartners, two teachers
and many parent volunteers. Today, it is an accredited campus with over 350 students from pre-K through
eighth grade.

Crossbar Academy
Crossbar Academy Crossbar Academy (CBA) combines faith, family, academics and soccer to create a
culture of being “Champions for Christ.” In 2019, CBA was born, opening the doors with 12
students in an attic above a gym. Today, CBA has its own campus and has grown to 90+ students, ranging
from second to 12th grade.
Crossbar Academy is Christian-based and soccer focused. All student athletes are trained and coached
daily by former professional soccer players.
Their vision for the student is that they are challenged to succeed and are provided a safe and loving
environment. In 2023, 97% of students achieved A/AB Honor Roll.
