PARKVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Parkville Area Chamber of Commerce has evolved from the Downtown Merchants Association to represent businesses throughout the expanding Parkville Community. From Creekside to Burlington Creek, downtown Parkville to Zona Rosa, we love Parkville!
The Chamber focuses on community involvement, member engagement, and providing networking opportunities for our growing membership through, among other things, membership meetings, monthly luncheons, and education events. As part of its mission to give back each year, the Chamber funds various special need requests from local charities through fundraising events including the Gala, Golf Tournament, and 5k/10k Run.

CITY OF PARKVILLE, MISSOURI
The City of Parkville is governed by a Board of Alderman of eight representing four Wards, and Mayor Nan Johnston.
In 2019, Parkville continued to be recognized for its strong quality of life by being named to the Top 20 Places to Live in Missouri, and receiving the Tree City USA award for the 29th consecutive year. In 2019 voters approved a parks sales tax that will further enhance the city’s trails, parks, and recreation facilities. This past year, Parkville became a Purple Heart City to pay recognition to residents who are Purple Heart Medal recipients, and was also designated a Bronze-level “Community for All Ages” for its efforts to become more welcoming to residents of all ages.
On the development side, the City had a record-breaking year for building permit revenue with the initiation of major projects including the Six at Park office building, Park University’s new School of Business building, and the initiation of the Master Planned Creekside Development.
