The Kearney Commercial Center will be the new, central location for the Chamber Office and Welcome Center.
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this year’s Community Guide and Chamber Directory brought to you by the Kearney Chamber of Commerce. As we reflect on the past year, we have much to celebrate and be proud of in our vibrant and growing community.
This year, we have continued to build on our strong foundation of programs and events that foster connection and growth. Our Membership Luncheons, Kearney Coffee gatherings and After Hours Networking events have once again brought together business leaders and community members, providing invaluable opportunities for networking and collaboration.
In addition to these beloved programs, we have introduced a new sponsorship model based on our five Pillars of Purpose. This innovative approach has enabled us to better support our mission and engage with our members in meaningful ways. We also hosted another successful Hiring Fair, providing local businesses with the chance to connect with potential employees and support the workforce needs of our community.
We were honored to co-host the Smithsonian traveling exhibit Crossroads: Change in Rural America, showcasing Kearney’s unique heritage and culture. Our management of the Kearney Farmers Market (voted Best of the Northland) has brought fresh, local produce and products to the heart of our community, further enhancing our local economy and quality of life. New events like the Kearney-Holt Motorshow, Restaurant Week, and Quilt Walk have added to our diverse array of offerings, drawing visitors and residents to enjoy all that Kearney and Holt have to offer.
Our collaborative spirit was evident as we co-hosted two multi-chamber events, expanding our reach and fostering regional partnerships. We were thrilled to celebrate “Hot Havana Nights” at our Harvest Gala this fall and to partner with the Kearney Enrichment Council for Oktoberfest, both events filled with unforgettable and magical moments.
We are also planning the launch of a Leadership Development Academy, devoted to building, strengthening and developing our community leaders. Additionally, we hope to transition to a new membership platform, enhancing our ability to serve and engage with our members more effectively.
The biggest and most exciting news of all is our upcoming move to a new central location within the Kearney Commercial Center. This new Chamber Office and Welcome Center will serve as a hub for our activities and a welcoming space for all who visit Kearney.
None of these achievements would be possible without the unwavering support and participation of the incredible chamber members listed within this publication. Your dedication and commitment make Kearney a wonderfully unique place to live, work, and play. Thank you for your continued support and for being an integral part of our community’s success.
