Welcome!
Focus: A Digital Look Forward
Happy New Year and welcome to the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce inaugural edition of its digital quarterly magazine. This first edition of the Digital Quarterly is full of information about your Chamber of Commerce, your fellow members, and what we have in store for you in 2021.
We would like to extend a special Thank You to our Board of Directors for propelling us into the digital age and space. We hope as members you will enjoy reading this new publication, find it useful, and will utilize all its options — it is completely mobile friendly.
Going digital has been a part of the Columbia County Chamber’s strategic goals since 2019. We are proud to say that this digital quarterly, our directory, e-blasts, and top 10 Things to Do are excellent platforms for your business to market and promote itself. Going digital and virtual positions the Chamber to meet the needs of our members and increases the number of impressions our members receive, weekly, monthly, and now quarterly.
We are also proud to announce that we have secured an exclusive Zoom meeting sponsorship with UHY Advisors LLC. That not only allows our members to connect with the Chamber but with your clients and customers. More importantly, UHY Advisors LLC will also provide a host of content from PPP forgiveness webinars to SBA disaster loan repayment to nonprofit content.
These digital and virtual platforms allow us to adjust to any future business disruptions and provide a place for members to stay connected. The Chamber is committed to being the leading voice of business and will continue to advocate on behalf of the business community. We are also committed to strengthening the economy by supporting workforce preparedness and education, Leadership 2.0, and Move Columbia, our signature health and wellness initiative.
We remain optimistic about the future. We are compiling a calendar of events for 2021 and we believe with confidence that we can make them happen even if in some instances they will have to be virtual. We long for the days when we can see you in person.
We will continue to be the place to find the most up-to-date information related to any future business disruption actions locally, statewide, and nationally. We are Columbia County Strong and New York Tough and together we are stronger than we were before.
Here is to an expansive and prosperous 2021!
