Business CONNECT Events
Monthly networking event to connect and learn more about local businesses in the Auburn Area. Enjoy
appetizers, refreshments and networking. Bring your business card for a chance to win great prizes. This
is a free business event held the first Wednesday of every month
from 3-5 p.m. Locations are at a different business each month. For more

Peter Cotton Trail
Grab your peeps and hop around Auburn in search of the elusive bunny, who’s been hidden in
various parks and trails. Find 10 bunnies and complete the on-line Bunny Scorecard for your chance to
win some great prizes!

Dog Trot
Dog Trot is a family-oriented Fun Run event that kicks-off the award-winning Petpalooza festival at
Auburn’s Game Farm Park. The ‘chip-timed’ race will start and finish in the same
location. Participants will follow a 3K or 5K route. The course is flat, easy and enjoyable for all
ages and ability levels. Awards given to the top participant in six age groups.

Petpalooza
An event for pet lovers and a special day for your four-legged family member or other furry friend. The
event kicks off with a Dog Trot Fun Run at 9:30 a.m. The event also includes live entertainment, an
agility area, pet contests, food trucks and a Beer Garden, children’s activities, loads of vendor
booths, pet adoptions, pet services, give-a-ways and lots of activities to keep both humans and pets
entertained.

Auburn Farmers Market
The Auburn Farmers Market hosts a variety of farm, food and craft vendors every Sunday, June 1 –
September 14. Browse over 50 vendors in a beautiful park setting! Check out the season schedule
including live entertainment, cooking demos, gardening talks and more!

Spotlight Awards
An evening out recognizing businesses and organizations that are impacting the Auburn Area. This year
will also be a monumental celebration of the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce 100-year anniversary.
Proceeds benefit Auburn Center for Social and Economic Policy, providing leadership and education
impacting our business community and schools.

Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth, an annual holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. The celebration

Auburn’s 4th of July Festival
Celebrate our country’s birthday at Les Gove Park in Auburn. This hometown event features live
entertainment on two stages, numerous inflatable rides and other children’s attractions including
a climbing wall, euro-bungy trampolines, trackless train rides, pony rides and more. The event also
includes a car show, laser tag, mini golf, over 40 craft artists, a book sale, food concessions, a spray
park and much more!

Kids SummerStage
Exciting performances designed just for kids! This ‘kid-approved’ series is enjoyable for

Hops & Crops
Music and Beer Festival
Fun, sun, music and brews! This 21 and up event is a South Sound favorite with live bands, dozens of
beers to taste, tasty food trucks and the most ‘chill’ beer festival experience in the
region.

National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police- community
partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Almost 5K Poker Fun
Run & Walk
The Almost 5K Poker Fun Run & Walk is an easy run around Les Gove Park. This fun run will utilize the
big loop at Les Gove Park. Five loops around is “almost” a 5K (short of a 5K by 1,138 feet).
For each lap around the loop, participants will stop, choose a card and try to get the best poker
hand with the five cards drawn. The route is flat, easy and enjoyable for all ages and ability levels.
Registrants with the highest poker hands in each age category will win a fun prize!

Algona Day
Algona’s biggest event of the year. Come enjoy a parade, live music, bouncy houses, Blue Heron
express, vendors, food and much more. This is a great time to make memories and experience community

Launching pumpkins is exactly what we are doing at the park! Aim at a target or see how far you can

Halloween Harvest Festival &
Les Gove Park Trunk-or-Treat
We’ve got you covered for Fall harvest fun! Exciting attractions for kids ages 2-10, ghoulish
trunks and scary tricks! This haunting event will include games, carnival rides, cauldrons of punch and
a fun trunk-or-treat experience around the trail at Les Gove Park. Your little goblin will not want to
miss this event!

59th annual Veterans Parade
& Observance
One of the largest Veterans Day Parades in the country! The parade proceeds west on Main Street from E
Street SE to A Street NW in Auburn and will include fly-overs, 20+ marching bands and several honor
guards and ROTC units. Spectators will enjoy the military marching units and antique military vehicles.
A variety of veterans units are always crowd pleasers.
Spectators will also see community and scouting groups, motorcycle entries, classic cars and more. Food
trucks and food vendors will be available during the parade from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Festival of Trees
Festival of Trees is a community-based holiday exhibit at the White River Valley Museum. Each year the
Museum selects a new community partner and theme. Partners decorate trees provided by the Museum that
creatively incorporate the theme.

Gingerbread Contest
A fun event that celebrates the holidays and brings the community together to see what Auburn can
build! Gingerbread structures will be on display at the Auburn Community & Events Center.
